I know it seems a little far-fetched to have a gift wrapping 'plan' but at one of the most stressful times of the year it doesn't hurt to be organised with everything and anything. With gifts to wrap for so many people, children, parents friends and an assortment of family members you're likely to see in the run up to Christmas. Ensure you have all your possibilities covered means there will be no last minute rushes or panics.
Ensure you have all the correct gift wrapping for your presents is just as important as having the gifts themselves.
Here are some tips to help you on your way to sorting your gift wrapping plan of action:

1. Have the basics at all times. This includes sticky tape, scissors and some form of paper whether its plain brown parcel paper or cheap and bright Christmas themed paper. If you ensure you have the basics early on, any early visits from family who can't make it closer to the time or for the friend who's going on holiday abroad - you'll have it covered.

2. Little and often. If you see a nice ribbon in a craft store, or find some old decorations you won't need this year - make a little collection of possible gift decor. The more options you have when it comes to the serious wrapping sessions, the less stressed you will feel about the whole thing.

3. Have a theme in mind. If you're having a big family Christmas with everyone gathered around the tree, you don't want all your wrapping to clash or look completely different from one another. Get yourself a colour theme and use your paper, ribbon and decorations appropriately.

4. Get making while you have time. If you want to make decorations and labels yourself, start now, do a little on a Sunday afternoon or another moment you have free and you'll have plenty of bits and bobs to decorate your gifts with.
